Bitget has announced the listing of Vana (VANA) in its Innovation, AI, and Web3 Zone.
This listing includes the VANA/USDT trading pair and marks a new phase in Bitget’s strategy to provide users access to groundbreaking blockchain projects. Deposits and withdrawals for VANA are now available on the platform.
The announcement emphasized that Vana is an EVM-compatible Layer 1 blockchain that gives users ownership of their AI-generated data. By tokenizing this data, Vana enables users to securely manage, monetize, and trade their information as an asset, creating new opportunities for income and investment. Additionally, developers and researchers can leverage access to user-owned datasets to enhance their AI models.
The VANA token plays a crucial role in the ecosystem by incentivizing participation and supporting the platform’s operations. Vana has successfully raised $25 million in funding, which includes a $5 million strategic round led by Coinbase, an $18 million Series A round led by Paradigm, and a $2 million seed round from Polychain.
Bitget is committed to advancing Web3 and AI projects by adding VANA to its platform. The exchange has launched the Blockchain4Her program to empower women-led startups in the Web3 space. The “Pitch n Slay” competition, part of this initiative, offers up to $100,000 in funding, mentorship, and exposure. The competition starts with a pitch round and ends on November 15, with finalists presenting to investors. The program is supported by Foresight Ventures, World of Women, Women in Web3, and Bitget Wallet to provide resources for women founders in the blockchain ecosystem.
In a strategic move, Bitget has appointed Min Lin, a former Goldman Sachs executive and the former Vice President at Binance, as its new Chief Business Officer. This decision aims to accelerate growth and enhance Bitget’s global presence. Lin brings valuable leadership experience and industry expertise to strengthen the company’s position in the competitive cryptocurrency market.
