Xalts, a financial technology firm, has announced the launch of its real-world asset tokenization platform, RWA Cloud, on the Polygon blockchain.
In a press release published today, October 8, Xalts described RWA Cloud as a comprehensive solution designed to address common challenges in blockchain implementation, including managing complex rules, workflows, and processes while ensuring compliance with regulatory governance.
The firm noted that the launch on Polygon would enable developers to build and deploy their applications “quickly and at a very low cost” on the blockchain network.
Colin Butler, Global Head of Institutional Capital at Polygon Labs, expressed enthusiasm for the partnership, highlighting that the collaboration will provide financial companies and fintechs with “plug-and-play solutions.” He noted that integrating Polygon with RWA Cloud will expedite the enterprise adoption of blockchain technologies and real-world asset tokenization use cases.
Beyond the launch of RWA Cloud, Xalts and Polygon Labs also plan to collaborate on various institutional services, including applications for trade and supply chain finance, treasury management, and cryptocurrency adoption.
Supreet Kaur, Chief Operating Officer of Xalts, emphasized the company’s commitment to partnering with blockchain firms to facilitate smoother transitions to blockchain technology for enterprises. “We look forward to accelerating the adoption of RWA tokenization by enterprises,” Kaur stated.
In a related development, Fasset, another fintech company, recently launched its own RWA platform, IOWN, as a standalone Ethereum Layer 2 blockchain. According to the firm, IOWN is targeted at democratizing access to various asset classes, including commodities, real estate, stocks, and bonds, particularly for individuals in emerging markets.
Fasset CEO and Co-Founder Mohammad Raafi Hossain highlighted that the launch of IOWN represents a significant advancement toward achieving financial inclusion, providing access to previously unavailable opportunities for those in emerging markets.
