Tokenize Xchange (Tokenize), a leading digital asset exchange in Southeast Asia, has announced a strategic investment from Animoca Brands in its blockchain project, Titan Chain.
This investment is seen as a major boost to Tokenize’s ecosystem, with plans to enhance its blockchain infrastructure and expand its presence in high-growth markets.
Animoca Brands, known for its extensive blockchain portfolio, will also provide market-making services, new listings, and community growth initiatives for Tokenize. The collaboration is expected to enhance liquidity for TKX and other ecosystem tokens.
This partnership aims to drive the development of blockchain-integrated products, particularly in gaming and digital collectibles, tapping into Animoca Brands’ expertise and vast network in the Web3 space. Tokenize will also benefit from Animoca’s 540+ Web3 investments and its large community of blockchain enthusiasts and gamers.
Tokenize Xchange CEO and Founder, Hong Qi Yu, described the investment as a pivotal moment for the company, stating,
“By leveraging Animoca Brands’ expertise in blockchain gaming and digital assets, we’re poised to deliver unprecedented value to our users and further solidify Tokenize’s leadership in the digital asset space.”
Animoca Brands’ Co-founder and Executive Chairman, Yat Siu, echoed this sentiment, highlighting the shared vision between the two companies. He stated,
“By combining Titan Chain’s robust infrastructure with our expertise in gaming and digital collectibles, we aim to drive mass adoption of blockchain technology in Southeast Asia.”
This development come as Animoca Brands’ gaming division, GAMEE, secured an undisclosed investment from Pantera Capital. The funding is intended to support GAMEE’s expansion on The Open Network (TON) via the Telegram-based app WatBird and broaden its presence across various blockchain networks, marking a significant step in its blockchain gaming growth.
