State Street Corporation, a major U.S. banking institution, has formed a strategic partnership with Taurus SA, a leading provider of digital asset infrastructure, to enhance its digital asset capabilities.
This partnership is expected to strengthen State Street Bank and Trust Company’s Digital Asset Solutions platform by developing a comprehensive model that supports the entire digital investment lifecycle, ensuring reliable solutions for clients.
State Street will use three of Taurus’s products: Taurus-PROTECT, which offers advanced security; Taurus-CAPITAL, which simplifies tokenized asset management; and Taurus-EXPLORER, which provides connectivity to various blockchain protocols.’
In a recent press release, State Street highlighted that its partnership with Taurus underscores its dedication to leading in the evolving digital asset sector.
Donna Milrod, State Street’s Chief Product Officer and Head of Digital Asset Solutions, stated,
“This collaboration with Taurus reinforces our commitment to digital asset leadership and enhances our goal of providing an exceptional client experience. We are excited to work with Taurus to advance our digital asset capabilities and deliver innovative solutions.”

In recent months, there has been a surge in crypto partnerships involving traditional finance institutions. Notably, Ledger recently announced a collaboration with Revolut to enhance its hardware wallet functionality. This partnership will allow Ledger users to buy and sell cryptocurrencies directly through their devices using Revolut’s services, bypassing traditional exchanges. This integration aims to streamline self-custody and simplify crypto transactions, promising faster transactions and eliminating extra identity checks.
