OKX has announced support for the DeFi Platform, Infinity Hedge Fund.
According to a press release published today, July 12, 2024, this collaboration will enable OKX Wallet users to easily connect and manage their digital assets within the Infinity Hedge Fund network.
The integration process is designed to be user-friendly and straightforward. Users can easily navigate to the platform’s website, click on ‘Connect Wallet’, select ‘OKX Wallet’, and then sign in using the OKX Wallet web browser extension available on Firefox or Chrome.
This announcement is part of OKX’s broader strategy to expand its offerings to a broader audience in the Web3 ecosystem. So far, in 2024, it has partnered with various protocols, blockchains, and platforms.
Notably, this latest development comes only a few days after OKX announced that its Web3 Wallet service is now integrated with Power Browser, a web3 browser that boasts features like a built-in VPN that encrypts, an ad-blocker, fail-proof security and privacy settings, and a customizable user interface that enables users to edit themes and layouts to suit their tastes. The integration with OKX is expected to allow the Web3 community on its platform to access the browser via its Wallet web extension.
Furthermore, on July 10, OKX partnered with the DeFi protocol, Lavarage, to allow users to engage in permissionless and non-custodial margin trading on DEXes. The exchange noted that users would be able to access these trading features without the need for registration, KYC, or pre-funding, thereby enhancing trading flexibility and opportunities in the DeFi space.
Meanwhile, in May 2024, OKX Ventures, the investment arm of OKX, made an undisclosed investment in Blade of God X, a role-playing game (RPG) developed by Void Labs, signalling the exchange’s foray into digital gaming.
