Popular memecoin, FLOKI, has been officially listed on Revolut Business, providing a straightforward way for millions of European businesses to purchase FLOKI tokens.
Revolut is Europe’s largest neo bank, boasting over 40 million users in more than 150 countries worldwide. With such extensive reach, the listing on Revolut Business provides FLOKI with unparalleled exposure to a vast and diverse audience of potential buyers.
The FLOKI team is optimistic about the potential of the Revolut partnership. They believe that this listing will not only provide a convenient way for millions of European businesses to purchase FLOKI but also attract new buyers, thereby significantly boosting the token’s market presence.
In addition to the Revolut listing, Binance Thailand has just listed FLOKI. According to the FLOKI team,
“this listing will significantly enhance accessibility to FLOKI in Thailand and help accelerate its vision of being the world’s most known and most used cryptocurrency!”
Thailand reportedly boasts a significant crypto adoption rate; approximately 12% of the population, or nearly 10 million people, own crypto in Thailand. This places Thailand 10th in Chainalysis’ ‘2023 Global Cryptocurrency Adoption Index.
In a parallel development, members of the Floki community are currently voting on a proposal to burn 15,246,000,000 $FLOKI tokens to manage the project’s token supply. The vote ends today, 15 May 2024, and so far, it has received overwhelming support. 99.84% of votes currently cast are in favour.
The proposal was introduced after one of the wallet owners affected by a previous community vote in July 2022 returned 15,400,000,000 $FLOKI tokens to the Floki multisig wallet.
The token burn is expected to enhance the remaining tokens’ value and benefit the entire Floki community. This initiative is part of a series of measures undertaken by the Floki DAO to optimize token distribution and ecosystem stability.
