Bitget has launched a new program under its Blockchain4Youth initiative to train over 100 young individuals in the fields of crypto, blockchain, and Web3 technologies. The Seychelles-based crypto derivative platform announced this development in a blog post on August 2, 2023.
The new endeavour called the Builders Program will provide the trainees with comprehensive education and hands-on experiences in the activities relating to the blockchain industry. The platform noted that the program is part of its “visionary undertaking” to “inspire and empower the next generation of crypto leaders.”
Gracy Chen, the Managing Director of Bitget, expressed the belief that nurturing curiosity, innovation, and talent among the youth is crucial for driving the growth and development of the blockchain industry.
Chen further highlighted that this launch solidifies Bitget’s position as a leader in the crypto space. She stated:
“The launch of the program, together with Bitget’s commitment to its employees and rebranding efforts, solidifies the platform’s position as a leading exchange during challenging times.”
Bitget introduced the Blockchain4Youth initiative in May 2023 with a dedicated fund of $10 million. With this initiative, the platform aims to empower young individuals to embrace blockchain technology through various educational activities catered to youth. These activities include campus lectures, U30 hackathons, blockchain online courses, certifications, and scholarships.
The initiative kicked off with a series of Web3-themed lectures held at universities in Taiwan, Vietnam, and Thailand in May 2023. Bitget also commemorated Bitcoin Pizza Day by launching three new blockchain courses in its Academy. Bitget Academy, under this initiative, now offers courses such as Introduction to Blockchain, Inside a Blockchain Future, and Blockchain Applied.
Bitget has also revealed that it will host its first Crypto Experience Day in collaboration with partnering universities and blockchain organizations worldwide. This event is scheduled to coincide with the International Youth Day on August 12, 2023.
The Crypto Experience Day aims to provide hands-on experiences with blockchain technology and offer valuable insights and career suggestions to the young audience.
