Bitget has introduced a groundbreaking feature on its platform that allows users to utilize a single address across multiple blockchain networks. This unique feature positions Bitget as the pioneer centralized crypto exchange (CEX) to adopt EVM-compatible addresses.
With the introduction of this feature, Bitget users can now add a unified EVM-Compatible Address to their accounts during transactions and withdraw funds directly to the address. The feature streamlines the withdrawal process and eliminates the need for intermediary features like bridges and platform-hopping. As a result, users can effortlessly trade and store assets using the Bitget platform across various chains.
In its press release, Bitget noted that it distinguishes itself from other exchanges in the industry by being the first to actualize the concept of integrating multiple blockchain networks, including Ethereum, Polygon, Binance Smart Chain, Arbitrum One, Optimism, and other chains within Ethereum’s Layer 2 ecosystem.
Gracy Chen, Bitget’s Managing Director, emphasized the complexity of the blockchain space and the challenges it presents to newcomers in understanding its technical aspects. Chen noted introducing features like the EVM address demonstrates Bitget’s commitment to simplifying crypto operations and significantly reducing the time and effort required for simple activities.
