Vybe, a social mining platform built on Algorand, has announced the launch of ALGO bounties (BNTYs) as part of a development in its Bntyhntr program.
ALGO BNTYs are similar to VYBE BNTYs, the first product in its Bntyhntr program. They are QR codes that people can scan to receive the cryptocurrency automatically sent to their wallet. However, ALGO BNTYs are loaded with ALGO instead of VYBE. The user can specify how many ALGO or fractions of ALGO each person gets when they scan the QR code.
Similar to VYBE BNTYs, ALGO BNTYs have several applications. They can be used to give away cryptocurrency and reward BNTY hunters for going to a specified location and completing a defined task. The code can confirm that the hunter has completed the task before sending the reward.
The launch of ALGO BNTYs is expected to drive mainstream adoption of cryptocurrency and further expand the use of Algorand in the institutional sector. ALGO BNTYs provide a fun and innovative way to earn cryptocurrency and drive engagement.
To celebrate the launch of ALGO BNTYs, Vybe offered 1 ALGO to the first 1,000 people who scan the QR code it posted on its Twitter account.

Vybe’s Bntyhntr program was launched on January 25, 2023, to provide a new tool for digital advertisement. Bntyhntr is a blockchain-based geolocation application that creates a gamified mechanism for advertisers and consumers to buy and sell attention. The program incentivizes people to engage with ads and drive traffic to specific locations.
To use Bntyhntr, you need a Vybe account and an Algorand wallet, and you need to opt into VYBE in your wallet so you can receive, hold and transact it.
