Yellow Card has expanded the selection of cryptocurrencies offered on its app by including five additional coins, thus providing customers with a more extensive range of options for a more complete experience.
The new coins are Cardano (ADA), Celo Dollar (cUSD), Solana (SOL), Tether (USDT), and USD Coin (USDC), and these have been added to the existing digital assets, such as Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH), already available.
The introduction of these new coins will allow Yellow Card’s users to expand their cryptocurrency portfolios and capitalize on various market opportunities.
Yellow Card has introduced several innovative financial solutions that have benefited Africans across the continent. The company recently launched Yellow Pay, a payment option that enables users to transfer and receive money instantly without incurring extra charges.
According to Chris Maurice, Yellow Card’s CEO and co-founder, the company is committed to continuously improving and expanding its product offerings to provide users with the most comprehensive and progressive experience possible.
Maurice stated:
“The addition of the coins to our app is the first of many new features that Yellow Card will launch this year.”
Yellow Card’s Director of Product Management, Ogochukwu Umeokafor, explained that their users wanted to have the ability to trade a broader selection of digital assets on the platform rather than being limited by the limited number of coins available at the time.
Umeokafor stated:
“As a company, we are constantly taking deliberate steps to scale our business which means expanding our offering in various indices to drive adoption and usage.”
Sarah Paterson, Yellow Card’s Director of Design and User Experience, stated that customers can expect more new coins to be added to the platform periodically. She said the company regularly communicates with its users and solicits feedback through customer surveys to determine which currencies to offer next while keeping an eye on industry trends to identify popular coins.
