Bit Digital, a New York-based digital asset mining company, has announced a strategic investment in Auros Global Limited, a prominent algorithmic trading and market-making company specializing in crypto and providing liquidity to exchanges and token initiatives.
The investment advances Bit Digital’s objective of maximizing the risk-adjusted returns of its digital assets and safeguarding its business from operational and treasury risks to ensure stable cash flows. By leveraging Auros’ derivatives offerings, Bit Digital plans to hedge and generate yields for some of its digital asset holdings.
According to Ben Roth, the Co-Founder and Chief Investments Officer of Auros, digital asset miners and validators play a critical role in ensuring the security of blockchains, processing transactions, and fostering the growth of the entire ecosystem.
Roth also highlighted that Auros’ Derivatives Solutions provides a comprehensive range of treasury and risk management solutions tailored specifically for miners and validators. He stated that the solutions offered could equip major players like Bit Digital with essential tools to protect against market fluctuations and potential losses, as well as maximize profits from idle assets and future production output.
