The Sky Swans, a creative platform and community aimed at bringing NFTs, digital artists, and music into the real world, announced the launch of its brand today.
Sky Swans will bring innovators and creators together, highlighting the value of their work and enabling them to take advantage of emerging blockchain technologies to directly benefit from their developing craft.
The adoption of blockchain technology eliminates intermediaries, resulting in greater transparency and stronger brand-consumer connection for creatives.
The Sky Swans co-founders, Alexander Jackson, Patrick Kaldone, and Ian Reilly, said:
“We view our platform as the gateway between artists and consumers,”
“Our goal is to develop a culture-centered community where creatives can venture into Web3 while also learning and supporting one another.”
Jessica Paige, Co-Founder of Rareform and former Co-GM and Head of Digital of Mom and Pop Music, also added:
“In a world that is unkind to independent artists, I was thrilled to see a team of creatives come together to build a new system that supports artists and creativity with no strings attached. Everybody loves music, but rarely do people come through to support artists monetarily in a fair and transparent partnership;
The co-founders will establish the Solar Skolarship, a scholarship fund for independent artists, with 10% of the revenue gained from the minting in November.
Holders of swans will be given priority consideration for funds to start and/or finish their projects throughout the course of the year when the Sky Swans vote on artists’ project entries. The winning contestants will be flown out and receive studio time in either Los Angeles, New York, Paris, or Philadelphia, as well as advice and social media help from The Sky Swans.
