ApeCoin DAO Launches NFT Marketplace

ApeCoin DAO has officially launched its own white-label non-fungible token (NFT) marketplace. ApeCoin DAO is made up of ApeCoin holders.

It was created by Snag Solutions, a non-fungible token (NFT) infrastructure startup. NFTs from Yuga Labs-owned collections including the Bored Ape Kennel Club (BAKC), Mutant Ape Yacht Club (MAYC), and Otherdeed for Otherside are available for trade on the recently launched marketplace.

Ethereum-based governance and utility currency ApeCoin was introduced in March by the Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC) affiliated APE ecosystem.

The Snag Solutions CEO, Zach Heerwagen, claims that unique features, like ApeCoin staking and NFT metadata integrations, are available to the BAYC and Otherside communities.

Zach added in a tweet:

“The custom marketplace includes unique features built specifically for the BAYC and Otherside communities, including ApeCoin staking and NFT metadata integrations.”

Additionally, the marketplace offers vendors lower charges of 0.5% for ETH transactions and 0.25% for ApeCoin transactions and holds .25% of each sale in a multi-signature wallet to fund future decentralized autonomous organization projects.

According to a tweet by Zach:

“Not only does the ApeCoin marketplace lower fees for sellers: .5% fees on $ETH sales and .25% fees on $APE, but a full .25% of each sale is held in a multi-sig to fund DAO initiatives.”
