Australian Blockchain Week 2022 has announced that FTX Trading Limited (FTX) will be the naming rights sponsor. This event is meant to begin from March 21, 2022, to March 25, 2022.
Blockchain Australia is a networking ecosystem that is designed to create a haven for different blockchain stakeholders to meet and discuss important issues linked to blockchain and its opportunities.
The Australian Blockchain Week will be the home of hundreds of speakers that will speak at seventy-five events. Prominent stakeholders in the industry such as FTX CEO Sam Bankman-Fried will be present.
Based on the ranking by Coinranking, FTX is a notable cryptocurrency derivatives exchange that is based in the Bahamas, with a $1.41 billion 24-hour trading volume.
Chief Executive of Blockchain Australia, Steve Vallas, announced the appointment on his LinkedIn page:

The Chief Executive of FTX, Bankman-Fried stated that the partnership was a way to promote the Australian market. He added:

Crypto companies, such as FTX and Crypto.com are increasingly acquiring naming rights to venues and events as a way of reaching a wider audience.
