Binance will delist four cryptocurrencies—Alpaca Finance (ALPACA), PlayDapp (PDA), Viberate (VIB) and Wing Finance (WING)—after determining they no longer meet the exchange’s listing standards.
Spot trading in the affected tokens ends on May 2 at 03:00 UTC, and all open orders will be automatically cancelled.
The decision follows Binance’s routine asset review, which evaluates developer commitment, trading liquidity, network security, and regulatory status. Binance says the delistings are necessary to maintain user protection and platform quality.
The delisting triggers a rolling shutdown across multiple Binance products. Futures contracts linked to the four tokens stop accepting new positions on April 30 at 08:30 UTC and settle automatically at 09:00 UTC. Margin borrowing for the tokens is suspended on April 25, with forced position closures scheduled for April 30 at 10:00 UTC. Binance Simple Earn, Trading Bots, Mining Pool, and VIP/Flexible Loan programmes will phase out support between April 30 and May 1, while Buy & Sell and Convert functions will stop handling the tokens as early as April 25.
Users have until July 4 at 03:00 UTC to withdraw the delisted assets. After that deadline, Binance may attempt to convert any remaining balances to stablecoins on behalf of users, although the exchange cautions that conversion is not guaranteed. Binance advises customers to close positions, redeem products, and withdraw or convert holdings before the cut‑off dates to avoid unexpected liquidations or losses.
Alongside the delisting notice, Binance has announced that more detailed sender and receiver information will soon be required for all crypto deposits and withdrawals on its platform. Starting April 30, users in South Africa will be prompted to provide specific details before completing any crypto transfer. For deposits, Binance will now request the sender’s full name, country of residence, and, where applicable, the name of the crypto exchange that initiated the transaction. Withdrawals will similarly demand beneficiary details before they are processed.
