Binance Sets to Delist Multiple Tokens on February 24

Binance has announced plans to delist several tokens following a periodic review, but they were found to meet the platform’s standards no longer.

In a statement issued to traders, the exchange confirmed that AirDAO (AMB), Clover Finance (CLV), StormX (STMX), and Vite (VITE) will be removed from its listings on February 24 at 03:00 UTC.

According to Binance, its routine evaluations ensure that listed assets comply with the exchange’s requirements. If a token no longer meets these benchmarks or the market landscape shifts, a more detailed review may result in delisting. As part of this process, trading pairs linked to the affected tokens—including AMB/USDT, CLV/BTC, CLV/USDT, STMX/TRY, STMX/USDT, and VITE/USDT—will also be removed.

Users will have until February 25 at 03:00 UTC to withdraw their holdings, after which deposits and withdrawals will no longer be supported. However, Binance has indicated that token holders may be able to convert their delisted assets into stablecoins after April 25 at 03:00 UTC.

Additionally, Binance’s Funding Rate Arbitrage Bot will close all arbitrage strategies involving AMB/USDT and STMX/USDT on February 20 at 05:30 UTC, automatically settling any open positions.

The announcement has led to significant drops in the value of affected tokens. VITE fell nearly 45% to around $0.0045, while AirDAO (AMB) declined by 37% to $0.0025 and has dropped over 60% in the past month. AirDAO has faced additional challenges, including a cyberattack last year that resulted in the loss of 126.5 ETH and 41.61 million AMB tokens, with the stolen funds later moved to exchanges like MEXC, KuCoin, and Binance.

Notably, Binance recently rolled out a significant update to its token information methodology to improve transparency and give traders a clearer picture of token availability. The new approach refines how market capitalization and circulating supply are calculated. Binance will now collaborate with listed projects to integrate token unlock schedules into these metrics.
