Going forward, PancakeSwap users will be able to pay gas fees with more than ten different ERC-20 tokens.
The PancakeSwap team recently announced an integration with Zyfi, a service that allows users to conduct gas-free transactions and swaps with any token of their choice. This integration is expected to facilitate a seamless experience for the platform’s users on the zkSync Era network, simplify cryptocurrency transactions, and reduce costs.
According to the team, this integration addresses the challenges associated with managing gas fees, especially when dealing with multiple wallets and various native tokens, by eliminating the need to hold specific native tokens for transaction fees. The integration will also provide transparent and optimized fees through upfront approval of required fees and real-time quotes to help users manage expenses.
Users can benefit from sponsored gas fees from PancakeSwap, external DeFi protocols, and the zkSync team. Notably, the zkSync team is sponsoring $5,000 in gas fees on a first-come, first-served basis for early adopters to celebrate this new feature.
The team also noted that it is introducing a new program to reward users based on their interactions with the new feature. The program, tagged Zyfi Gasless Program, rewards users who Zyfi’s paymaster on zkSync Era PancakeSwap with gas points. These points accrue as they conduct transactions, increasing their chances of receiving Zyfi token airdrops.
PancakeSwap is one of the leading decentralized exchanges (DEX) on the Binance Smart Chain (BSC). Launched in September 2020, it has quickly grown in popularity due to its user-friendly interface, low transaction fees, and a wide variety of features, including yield farming, staking, and lotteries. The platform allows users to trade BEP-20 tokens, providing liquidity through farming and earning fees in return.
