On August 21, 2023, Coinrule announced a strategic partnership with Coinbase to integrate its suite of AI-automated trading tools into the crypto exchange’s Advanced Trading services.
According to Coinrule’s announcement, its offerings include a range of features designed to empower traders with automated trading strategies, such as Profitable Bots, Live Market Scanner, and a comprehensive selection of Pre-Built AI Strategies. These tools are expected to grant retail traders on Coinbase access to enhanced trading capabilities.
Gabriele Musella, Coinrule’s CEO, expressed pride in the collaboration, stating, “Helping retail investors to access powerful AI tools is our mission. We want to give retail investors the tools to be able to compete with professional traders. Our integration with Coinbase is a major step forward on this journey.“
Coinbase has also launched a unique 2-week campaign to promote the utilization of automated trading. During this campaign, Coinbase users using Coinrule’s suite of tools will be eligible for exciting rewards and exclusive offers.
This development aligns with Coinbase’s ongoing efforts to expand its offerings and cater to a broader user base. Recently, Coinbase introduced a feature aimed at streamlining funding and withdrawal processes for its local users in Canada. This was also a move to bolster its influence in the Canadian cryptocurrency market.
Meanwhile, Coinbase has received regulatory approval to provide futures trading to eligible consumers in the United States. In an announcement on August 16, 2023, Coinbase revealed that customers would soon access futures through Coinbase Financial Markets. This regulatory nod from the National Futures Association (NFA), a CFTC-designated self-regulatory organization, enables Coinbase to operate as a Futures Commission Merchant (FCM) and offer eligible US customers access to crypto futures.
This approval positions Coinbase as the first crypto-first platform to offer regulated and leveraged crypto futures, alongside traditional spot trading, within the United States.
