Bitget has announced the commencement of its Under 30 Virtual Hackathon. Set to run from August 12 to September 18, 2023; the Hackathon presents a $50,000 prize pool aimed at motivating young talents to create AI and blockchain solutions that address real-world problems.
The Hackathon will feature three challenges, all of which are centered around combining AI and blockchain capabilities. The first challenge involves creating a secure AI infrastructure with advanced security measures. The second task calls for an AI-enhanced gaming experience that utilizes AI for various aspects of gaming. The third challenge is about designing an AI-powered marketplace for secure data exchanges and cross-market collaboration.
Winning teams across five categories will earn $10,000 each. These categories also include a dedicated prize for the best female team.
To participate, you must be younger than 30 years old. Eligible participants must also create a team of three to five people, in which at least one team member is a student of an accredited university. Team registration is open until September 18, 2023. Submissions by September 6, 2023, offer the chance to be featured at Bitget’s EmpowerX Summit in Singapore.
Bitget collaborated with Foresight Ventures’ ForesightX incubator and HackerEarth, to host the Hackathon. Foresight Ventures will provide financial support, while HackerEarth’s expansive global developer community will provide participants with guidance and technical resources throughout the event.
The U30 Hackathon is an integral part of Bitget’s $10 million Blockchain4Youth initiative designed to encourage blockchain and crypto adoption among young people. So far, as part of the initiative, the platform has hosted blockchain courses on its Academy platform, launched a Builders Program to train young crypto leaders, and hosted the Crypto Experience Day to raise awareness.
