Unstoppable Domains has partnered with Ethereum Name Service (ENS) to extend support for .eth domain names on its platform.
In a blog post published on Jul 17, 2023, the web3 domain provider notified its users that it had made substantial improvements to its payment options and management tools for ENS domains and provided them with the convenience of acquiring .eth names through their service.
According to Unstoppable, when users purchase a .eth domain on its platform, it will be registered via the ENS smart contract and seamlessly operate like domains acquired directly from ENS.
Furthermore, Unstoppable Domains allows customers to purchase .eth names even if they do not currently have an Ether wallet connected. This is made possible through Unstoppable Vault, its non-custodial service designed to secure Web3 domains.
Unstoppable’s integration with ENS will allow its users to enjoy an automatic renewal process which eliminates the need for on-chain domain renewal and the risk of losing a domain during the process.
The pricing structure for .eth domains offered by Unstoppable Domains remains consistent with that of ENS. It includes Ethereum network fees for gas and provides the additional options of including services such as Unstoppable Vault and auto-renewal.
Additionally, Unstoppable offers users the flexibility to purchase their desired Web3 domain using various payment methods, including credit cards, PayPal, Google Pay, Apple Pay, and 12 additional cryptocurrencies, in addition to Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies.
Unstoppable is also actively developing domain management tools specifically for .eth domains. These tools will empower users to transfer .eth domains, manage on-chain profile data, and configure cryptocurrency addresses.
Unstoppable Domains and ENS collectively held a total of six million domain registrations. These two companies are industry leaders in the web3 and decentralized domains sector, having played a pivotal role in enabling users to create user-friendly domain names and Bitcoin wallet addresses.
