Web3 data intelligence firm, Forkast Labs, has announced a partnership with The Sandbox, a subsidiary of Animoca Brands and a decentralized gaming virtual world. The collaboration aims to redefine measurement standards and transform the assessment of digital asset value within the metaverse.
Under the partnership, Forkast will introduce ‘Forkast Indexes,’ which will track economic activity in The Sandbox metaverse and provide real-time measurements of digital asset performance. These indexes will gauge the economic value of fashion, gaming, music, and various NFT assets within The Sandbox platform.
Furthermore, Forkast and The Sandbox will work together to offer comprehensive coverage and valuable insights into the blockchain gaming industry. Through the collaboration, The Sandbox will also leverage Forkast Labs’ cutting-edge multichain data infrastructure and expertise in blockchain data and journalism to get widespread media exposure and recognition within the global blockchain community.
Angie Lau, co-CEO and co-founder of Forkast Labs, remarked that the partnership marks a crucial milestone in the evolution of the digital asset industry. According to Lau, their focus lies in establishing essential benchmarks that would allow investors, funds, users, and companies to assess value objectively.
Lau also commended Forkast Labs’ diligent efforts in analyzing extensive on-chain data and presenting it in an accessible format.
Lai stated:
