Bitget has launched three new blockchain courses on Bitget Academy as part of activities to commemorate Bitcoin Pizza Day. The courses, namely Introduction to Blockchain, Inside a Blockchain Future, and Blockchain Applied, are also part of Bitget’s broader initiative called Blockchain4Youth. This project aims to promote youth involvement in blockchain technology and educate them about its potential.
Bitget announced the $10 million Blockchain4Youth initiative on May 4, 2023. As part of the initiative, the company plans to collaborate with prominent blockchain firms to support innovative projects by aspiring entrepreneurs. Additionally, they will organize hackathons called “Under the Age of 30” to identify promising projects and offer courses and certifications through Bitget Academy.
Bitget’s goal with the new Bitget Academy course is to democratize blockchain education and make it accessible to everyone. Alongside launching online courses, they plan to organize campus lectures in prominent universities in Taiwan, Vietnam, and Thailand. Furthermore, Bitget intends to provide scholarships to assist young blockchain enthusiasts financially.
Gracy Chen, Managing Director of Bitget, stated:

Chen also emphasized that Bitget is committed to empowering tomorrow’s leaders by equipping them with the necessary knowledge and tools to create a blockchain-driven world. Chen added that investing in the education and empowerment of the youth is crucial to fulfilling the potential of an open and decentralized blockchain future.
In another development, Bitget released its transparency report for Q1 2023 on May 17, 2023. The report highlighted the company’s achievements and progress during that period. It claimed that the exchange witnessed increased investor activity driven by the cryptocurrency market’s total capitalization surpassing $1.2 trillion.
