Crypto.com initiated a survey to analyze what Australians thought about cryptocurrency, and it found out that over a quarter of those that participated in the survey stated that digital assets will be a big part of their Christmas gifting session.
Over two thousand Australians participated in the survey, within the age range of 18 to 59. According to the survey result released by notable crypto wallet and exchange, Crypto.com twenty-six percent of those that had used cryptocurrency this year announced that they would think about adding crypto-related gifts into their plans.
Among those that agreed to the crypto gifting idea, over half of them ticked the box that they would think about purchasing popular cryptocurrencies like BTC and ETH for their loved ones.
The October 2021 survey showed that Australians had developed an intense interest in incorporating cryptocurrencies in different aspects of their lives, including the Holidays.
Apart from crypto purchases, it is expected that crypto-themed products, especially those that bear the ensemble of popular tokens will be demanded. Out of those that fancied the concept of crypto gifts, over forty percent stated that they are nursing the idea of buying themed items.
Karl Mohan, Crypto.com general manager stated that “Australians are clearly very keen to adopt cryptocurrencies and integrate their use into day-to-day spending.”
Recently, Perth Heat, an Australian baseball team has begun the process of paying its workers in cryptocurrency, and to achieve this, it partnered with OpenNode.
