Japanese investment firm Metaplanet has officially surpassed the 10,000 Bitcoin mark, hitting its original 2025 year-end target six months early.

The firm acquired 1,112 BTC for approx. $110M, funded by a $210M zero-interest bond from EVO Fund, issued and finalized on June 16.

Metaplanet now targets 100,000 BTC by 2026 and 210,000 BTC by 2027—1% of Bitcoin's total supply—under its revised accumulation roadmap.

To monitor performance, Metaplanet uses BTC Yield, which hit 87.2% this quarter, following a 309.8% leap in Q4 2024.

With bold financing moves and strategic buys, Metaplanet now ranks 8th globally, cementing its place as Asia’s leading Bitcoin-holding company.
