Gate Alpha has announced the launch of a tiered airdrop event for the NUMI token, rewarding eligible users based on their accumulated points within the Alpha ecosystem. The event is scheduled to take place on October 21, 2025, between 10:00 and 15:59 UTC, with tokens expected to be credited to successful participants within an hour of claiming.

Tiered airdrop structure

The airdrop introduces a two-tier reward model tied to users’ Gate Alpha Points — a metric reflecting trading activity and asset holdings on the platform. Users with 120 to 159 points qualify for Tier 1, where they can claim 66 NUMI tokens by consuming 12 points. Those with 160 points or above fall under Tier 2, allowing them to claim 300 NUMI tokens by using 15 points.

Gate Alpha stated that users will automatically be assigned to a points tier and can only claim rewards once per tier. The airdrop follows a first-come, first-served format. Participants must update their Gate app to version 7.20 or higher, or access the event via the web platform. Users are also required to complete identity verification before receiving their tokens.

Unclaimed rewards after the event deadline will be considered forfeited. Trading of the NUMI token will commence once its on-chain trading function is officially activated.

The airdropped token, NUMINE (NUMI), operates on the BNB Chain and powers a Web3 content ecosystem that enables developers and users to influence digital content creation and distribution. It is designed to offer a decentralized, user-driven experience for blockchain-based content.

Gate Alpha’s points system, derived from users’ 15-day activity data, determines access to exclusive events such as token launches and TGE subscriptions. The exchange reiterated its zero-tolerance stance on fraudulent behavior, warning that multiple accounts or wash trading will lead to disqualification.
