Awards to highlight seven creator categories
The Blockchain 100 will honour 100 creators across seven categories, including Industry Advocate, Independent Researcher, Trader, Community Builder, Video and Live Creator, Crypto Press, and Rising Star. Eligible nominees must produce educational or inspiring crypto-related content, maintain at least 10,000 followers on a major platform, and have a record free of major issues. Binance said the awards are designed to elevate the voices behind crypto’s rapid global growth, rewarding those who educate users, share market insights, and strengthen blockchain communities.
Community voting and award timeline
The selection process begins with public nominations open from September 25 to October 12, followed by community voting from October 15 to October 26 on Binance Square, where verified Binance users can vote once per category each day. Final winners will be revealed on November 3, with an in-person ceremony scheduled for December 3 during Binance Blockchain Week in Dubai. Winners will receive engraved medals and access to exclusive networking events.
Rachel Conlan, Binance’s Chief Marketing Officer, said the awards reflect the community-driven ethos of crypto.
“Progressing the industry toward one billion users will take collective effort, and this is our way of recognizing those who have helped build this vibrant ecosystem,”
she noted.
Public nominations are now live, with details and submissions available through Binance’s official event page.
Meanwhile, BNB Chain validators have proposed halving gas fees and reducing block intervals to improve scalability and support high-frequency trading and DeFi activity. The upgrade comes as BNB recently surged past the $1,000 mark, underscoring the need to sustain growth and keep the network competitive with other leading smart contract platforms.
