AMINA Bank AG has recorded a 69% increase in annual revenue to $40.4 million in 2024, establishing itself as the fastest-growing crypto bank in Switzerland.
This impressive growth was accompanied by a 136% surge in assets under management (AUM), which reached $4.2 billion, following the bank’s strategic transformation into a global, client-first institution.
The bank also achieved quarterly profitability in Q4 2024—a milestone CEO Franz Bergmueller described as a clear validation of AMINA’s global strategy. This strategy includes offering 24/7 trading capabilities, operating across multiple jurisdictions, and maintaining an impeccable track record of zero loan defaults over the past five years.
Supporting this growth, AMINA’s self-funded business model and operational efficiency contributed to $801 million in net new assets last year. Moreover, derivatives revenue rose by 40%, reflecting strong institutional demand for risk management solutions.
Building on these successes, AMINA is set to launch a proprietary crypto banking platform alongside updated mobile and web interfaces later this year. These new systems, built on scalable and API-driven architecture, will support B2C, B2B, and B2B2C models, ensuring seamless client integration and enhanced adaptability to market demands.
AMINA has simultaneously expanded its international footprint, with revenue from its Abu Dhabi operations growing 150% and Hong Kong operations surging 570%. This increased demand for institutional-grade banking services has led to nearly 20 B2B2C partnerships, with the bank targeting 30 partnerships by the end of the year.
Further enhancing client experience, AMINA has enabled instant receipt capability for domestic CHF account-to-account transfers. Now, eligible payments can be received 24/7, including weekends and public holidays, from participating banks registered with SIX.

Additionally, AMINA has removed custody fees for its Stablecoin Rewards Account, allowing clients holding USDC to earn quarterly rewards without the burden of traditional banking fees. This new offering enables both individual and business clients to securely store their USDC holdings in hot and cold wallets, further strengthening AMINA’s position as a leading crypto banking platform.
