Canaan Inc., a leading blockchain hardware manufacturer, introduced its latest Bitcoin mining devices, the Avalon Mini 3 and Avalon Nano 3S, at CES 2025 in Las Vegas.
These innovations aim to make cryptocurrency mining more accessible while offering added benefits for users.
The Avalon Mini 3 is a dual-purpose device that mines Bitcoin at 37.5Th/s while providing home heating. Its control and energy efficiency make it ideal for beginners and experienced miners. Combining mining with heating helps users reduce energy costs and their environmental impact. At the same time, the Avalon Nano 3S is an upgraded, compact Bitcoin mining device that offers a hashrate of 6Th/s. Low power consumption makes it an affordable option for individual miners and ideal for those new to Bitcoin mining.
Canaan’s CEO, NG Zhang, emphasized the company’s commitment to making Bitcoin mining more accessible. “The Avalon Mini 3 and Avalon 3S represent our vision of user-friendly, practical mining solutions for the modern individual. We’re reimagining how technology can create value while minimizing environmental waste. The Avalon Mini 3’s ability to generate cryptocurrency while heating your home is a perfect example of our vision for sustainable, multi-purpose technology.” He stated
This isn’t the first attempt by mining hardware companies to integrate crypto rigs with household devices. Companies like Heatbit have already launched heaters that double as cryptocurrency miners.
Meanwhile, Amber Mining has launched a regulated cloud mining program under the UK Financial Conduct Authority, prioritizing transparency and security for cryptocurrency investors. With over 100 global mining centres and partnerships with major companies like Bitmain, Canaan, and Nvidia, the platform offers a mining capacity of over 10 EH/s. Users can easily register, receive a $12 welcome bonus, and choose flexible mining contracts from 1 to 10 days, with daily interest rates ranging from 1.55% to 10%. Earnings are credited every 24 hours, providing a seamless experience for users.
