Bitget Wallet, the primary soft wallet platform for Bitget exchange, has partnered with virtual asset investment firm Foresight X to invest in Tomarket, a new crypto trading platform.
The joint venture, announced on June 28, 2024, aims to tap into the trillion-dollar market of emerging digital asset projects.
According to the platform, Tomarket was developed by industry veterans from Microsoft and Binance, and it is designed to bridge market gaps and cater to customer needs beyond traditional decentralized exchanges (DEXs).
The platform enables trading of Real-World Assets (RWAs), pre-TGE assets, crypto points, crypto asset yield swaps, and other novel asset types, enhancing liquidity and value discovery in these sectors.
Alvin Kan, COO of Bitget Wallet, expressed enthusiasm for the investment, emphasizing the importance of trading in the crypto sector. He noted that beyond native tokens, emerging asset types like RWAs and points require significant attention.
Bitget Wallet announced on social media that Tomarket is set to launch in July, with $BWB token holders eligible for incentives upon launch. According to its announcement, Tomarket will first be available as a Telegram mini-app to provide users with a convenient entry point.

In another development, Bitget’s research division recently projected that crypto losses due to these AI-powered scams would reach $25 billion by the end of 2024. This claim comes as the exchange recently partnered with Sumsub to enhance its AI-powered KYC verification system and combat the growing challenge of deep fakes. The partnership is expected to help the exchange improve Bitget’s ability to accurately identify and prevent deep fake scams by over 99%.
