Binance has announced a new token sale project on its Launchpad platform. This token sale will feature Arkham (ARKM), a blockchain analytics platform offering insights into on-chain cryptocurrency market activities.
The sale of Arkham tokens will have an overall hard ceiling of $2.5 million. During the sale, participants will be limited to a maximum of $15,000 or 300,000 ARKM tokens. Binance noted that it had reserved 50 million tokens, about 5% of the total token supply of 1 billion ARKM tokens, specifically for the launchpad.
Qualified customers will have a 24-hour window on July 17, 2023, to subscribe to the token sale by allocating their Binance Coin (BNB) to the exchange. On July 18, the final token distribution will be calculated; the assigned BNB tokens will be taken from customers’ accounts, and the corresponding amount of Arkham tokens will be credited.
Each Arkham token will be priced at 1 ARKM during the public sale, equivalent to $0.05. Binance noted that it will determine the price in BNB before the subscription period.
However, residents of certain countries are restricted from participating in the token sale. These countries include Belarus, Cuba, the Crimea Region, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Iran, New Zealand, North Korea, South Sudan, Syria, the United States of America, and its territories.
Arkham, the blockchain analytics platform at the center of the token sale, offers insights into on-chain cryptocurrency market activities. The platform uses a variety of data sources, including transaction data, wallet addresses, and social media activity, to provide users with a comprehensive view of the cryptocurrency market. The platform recently introduced an on-chain intelligence exchange where users can anonymously buy and sell information about blockchain address owners.
Binance Launchpad is known for providing early access to promising blockchain projects. The platform has successfully launched numerous projects since its inception, including Matic, Tokocrypto, and Injective Protocol. The Arkham token sale marks the 32nd project hosted by Binance Launchpad, demonstrating the platform’s commitment to supporting innovative ventures in the crypto space.
